We shopped around for quotations before getting our new boiler installed. I knew what I was looking for, so I searched for a list of approved installers and invited three of them to quote. Aside from one exhorbitant quote from a formerly nationalised company, the others were similar in price. Paul, the owner of PDL, communicated with me well and arrived at our house to quote exactly when he said he would, literally to the minute. I’m not entirely ignorant when it comes to plumbing or boilers and could immediately tell that he knew the most appropriate method of installation, something you may be tempted to take for granted from a heating engineer, but not all heating engineers were created equal! Paul was faced with a very confined space to work in, an old boiler to remove and pipework which was not routed optimally, creating a difficulty when locating the existing pipes. His suggested route to install was minimally invasive to the plaster work and cupboard surrounds. Paul was very cordial but also professional and answered any question thrown at him in an informed and knowledgeable manner. The installation itself was carried out perfectly. They put protective matting down on our tiles, were polite and courteous and despite a hiccup with the delivery of the new boiler (not their fault) and Paul having to drive off and source another, everything went off without a hitch. I would not hesitate to recommend PDL for your boiler installation. Excellent value for money.
