Easier To Come Out
NOT AVAILABLE - Why? These boilers retain header tanks which enables air to enter the system causing radiators to sludge up. This is very damaging to condensing boilers, old boilers are much less effected by this problem. To be certain the system remains clean we need to update it, this can be very simple to do which is why we need to visit first to take a look at your current system layout and advise.

Why – Boilers are expensive, there are so many things to check that unlike some companies we think it is unfair to expect the homeowner to take the responsibility of not making any costly mistakes. We will not try to sell to you and the price above will not change without good reason (It can go down as well as up) and you will receive a fully itemised fixed price quotation before you make that final decision.
What needs checking - Gas pipe size, distance to gas meter, number of other gas appliances in use with a calculation to ensure correct gas pressure KW for new boiler. If the gas pipe needs upgrading, we will agree the route with you in advance. This is so important as if we do not provide the new boiler with the correct gas pressure it will not work correctly, be illegal, possibly dangerous and quite rightly the manufacturer will void the warranty.
Condensate pipework – this can be critical to get right or the condensate will freeze and cause the boiler to brake down on the day you need it to work the most.
Flue length and termination; too close to a window, an air vent, or a neighbour and it will be illegal, Vertical flue length effects the cost.
Water pressure and flow rate, if you select a high-powered boiler it will only be capable of working to its full potential, if your incoming water pressure and flow rate is too low you would be throwing money away if you choose the wrong boiler.
Controls and system pipework – as far as possible we will check to ensure that it is compatible with your boiler and is in line with building regulations, also the best choice to save you money on your gas bill.
Some of the questions in the run up to the price can not be accurate enough e.g.: house size small, medium and large. What one person considers large is medium to the next person, we will calculate the correct heating output to ensure you are not cold or wasting money on an excessively large boiler.
