COMMERCIAL BOILER AND SYSTEM UPGRADES
Boilers designed for commercial use or combined boilers over 70 kw is considered to be a commercial installation and is separate from domestic boilers accreditation. PDL Heating is accredited to install such commercial systems.
Many improvements can be made to the efficiency of old commercial boilers systems making an upgrade to be a very good investment.
CONSIDERATIONS IN COMMERCIAL BOILER INSTALLATIONS
Many commercial boilers are attached to very old central heating systems which may have a mix of pipework and system designs that are not compatible with new boilers. It can be very difficult to ensure the old system can be cleaned and operate in a way that will not damage a new condensing boiler. However there are ways of doing this which protects the new boiler by installing a separate heat exchanger, meaning the boiler will not directly be attached to the water in the old heating system. This can avoid a lot of upgrading cost to the old heating system whilst not risking the reliability of the new boiler.
